**Our Philosophy

La Nouvelle école offers a loving, stimulating and secure environment in historic locations in Geneva and Paris

We are a unique, exclusive, bilingual English/French school based on the Montessori philosophy. A personalized education based on self-directed activities, hands-on learning and collaboration.

The passion of our founders is to prepare our children to become the leaders of tomorrow, so at La Nouvelle Ecole, our children not only learn skills that will serve them throughout their lives, but we also provide a number of opportunities for them to discover their gifts and talents while learning to become stewards of our beautiful planet through our 'Ecology Curriculum'.

An integrated program

Our academic program integrates the national curriculum with Cambridge International Education and UK Early Years Foundation Stage for English literacy objectives and skills.

At our school, we provide a healthy, balanced, low-sugar diet. Meals are prepared using local and organic produce delivered fresh daily. A well-thought-out, child-friendly daily menu develops the tastes of our little learners while ensuring their health, development and well-being.

**An eco-friendly school

Our school aims to make a positive contribution to children and communities, both local and remote, to animals and to the planet.

Our eco-friendly teaching program raises children's awareness of our planet. We've planted over 5,000 trees, built schools in developing countries and much more.

**Responsible School

La Nouvelle école supports nature-friendly manufacturers. The school has LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. In addition, we are proud to use tables, chairs, indoor and outdoor toys and building blocks made from:

Wood from sustainable agriculture.

All our wood comes from sustainably managed forests. Maple is harvested within a 500 km radius of our manufacturer's workshops.

**Clean air

All our furniture products are made from low-emission materials.

Healthy materials

The manufacturer strictly prohibits the use of unknown products and only allows the use of ecological materials that are safe for our children.

Healthy nutrition

As parents, we educate our children to respect, protect and nourish our bodies, our homes, our community and our planet.

That's why we believe our children should understand and enjoy the importance of nutritious, healthy and delicious food. When planning menus, we take care to offer a wide range of foods to expose our children to a diversity of tastes, textures and culinary cultures.

La Nouvelle École offers healthy cuisine prepared with local produce. Weekly menus shared with parents are varied, simple, rich and tasty.
